sow/grow/reap drawing by David Hile

“sow/grow/reap” was chosen for inclusion in Webster Arts’ “Relationships” national exhibition. The exhibit will be virtual and the selected works will be available on their website, https://www.webster-arts.org/relationships beginning November 17, 2020, and running through December 31, 2020.

There were 586 submissions; 64 works were selected. This is the second time that “sow/grow/reap/” has been accepted in a national invitational art exhibit.

Artists were encouraged to interpret the theme of Relationships broadly, including artwork that considers relationships in all forms including human bonds, intentional communities, our relationship with other species, and/or relationships within ecosystems.

Webster Arts, located in St. Louis, Missouri, is a growing regional non-profit arts center that hosts national juried exhibitions in its 2000 square-foot gallery, a nationally ranked juried art fair, art outreach for recent refugees, plein air competition, an autumn music series, and other community events. Juror Alison Erazmus is a fine art photographer and art administrator originally from the flat agricultural landscape of northern Illinois. She now lives in Saint Louis, MO. Artists chosen for the exhibit may be selected for solo or 2 – 3 person shows in the future.
