What is better than perusing artwork while sipping a cappuccino? It’s hard to beat that combination. So I was very happy to kick off year 2020 with an exhibit at The Common Cup Coffeehouse. The venue is a non-profit establishment in the basement of Lutheran University Chapel near Ann Arbor’s University of Michigan central campus. Besides serving up all the usual hot and cold beverages you’d expect from a first-rate coffeehouse, they have nearly 100 feet of gallery wall space that fills up each month with a revolving lineup of regional artists’ work. My show includes 30 drawings, with all the work for sale. Besides coffee and art, The Common Cup also features occasional performances from musicians far and wide. If you haven’t visited, be sure and stop by (before February 1 if you would like to see my work).
