My drawing “Woodland Melody” won 1st place in the Drawing category at the 38th Annual “Arts For Our Future” exhibition held at the Bedford Branch Library in Temperance, Michigan. In total three of my drawings made it into the show, which included over 100 works of art by area artists in various mediums. Other categories included Oil and Acrylics, Watercolor, Photography, Mixed Media, and Sculpture/Ceramics/Glass. The awards were presented at a preview and dinner for the artists and their significant others held on Sunday evening, November 4, 2018. The public exhibit runs through Sunday, November 25.
